Same Sounds Scoot

This Scoot game works on identifying initial sounds that are the same. Students will say the two pictures on the card and determine if both begin with the same sound. They will say thumbs up if they do start the same and thumbs down if they do not. Included are two different recording sheets. One with only pictures of thumbs up/thumbs down. The second recording sheet includes a spot for more advanced students to write the initial sound. Once the class has played as a scoot game it could be placed in a literacy center.
