I created these graphic organizers because I wanted my students to have examples when completing their own “fichas”. The graphic organizers ask students to identify: título, autor, origen, época, corriente literaria, tema, tono, ambiente, personajes, recursos literarios, cita favorita, resumen and there is a place for símbolo/dibujo. By the end of the year students have a ficha for every lectura on the AP list and can use it as a review resource for the AP Spanish Literature exam.
Students have used these graphic organizers in an interactive notebook some years. Other years I have asked them to keep a course binder. You might even decide to ask your students to create a digital interactive notebook? These examples are exactly what your students need to help them get started…
