This rubric uses customer benefit criteria as the basis for rating a product for pricing purposes. Criteria include: number of pages, page saturation, product mileage, content variety and flexibility, product assessment, teacher support and product organization, and product longevity. The product is, in part, based on information provided in the Seller’s Newsletter (Loving the Prices; February 2013 by Margaret Whisnant). The rubric is suitable for middle or high school teachers who want to rate their printed products for pricing. The rubric does not establish a pricing scale, but, rather, allows Sellers to determine prices themselves as they compare their own products on the rating scale. It is one more tool towards making pricing products a measurable process based on definitive criteria.
