For this project, students take on the role of a Japanese scribe that has been recently assigned to create a Help Wanted Advertisement to find qualified people to become samurai. This activity really helps history come alive for students! It also helps students develop the skill of using historical evidence in their writing, along with incorporating their creative touches.
