Show a little Christmas magic in your classroom this season with these Santa Salt Tray Cards. I incorporate salt tray writing into my centers weekly! Not only do they incorporate fine motor skills, but also sensory, and letter/number recognition as well.
-26 Uppercase Letter Cards
-26 Lowercase Letter Cards
-Numbers 1-20 Cards
-Salt Tray Liner Cut Out
-Print. laminate, and cut the Santa cards and salt tray liner
-Pour some salt into a small tray (food storage containers, pencil boxes, etc.). You can dye the salt different colors using food coloring. I like to use a color that matches the theme (for example- red dye would go perfect with these cards). A little glitter added in is fun too!
-Give the students a writing utensil (paint brush, pencil that has not been sharpened, etc.) or allow them to use their fingers!
-Students will use the cards to practice writing their letters and numbers in the tray.
