Additionally, slowing the breath has also been tied to lowering stress hormones that cause anxiety. How neat it is that we can use these easy self-management techniques at any time, and any place! Have children repeat the belly breathing 3 or 4 times until they feel more relaxed. Envisioning Santa's Belly getting bigger with an inhale really helps!
