Use these cute foldables to practise your letter writing skills and to send your holiday wishes to the North Pole.
These foldables line up nicely with a lesson in letter writing and the five parts of a letter (heading, greeting, body, conclusion, signature).
I like to use these foldables before I have my students write their final letter to the North Pole. Students use these as their rough draft so they feel confident when writing or typing up their real letter. You could also use these as a fun alternative to the traditional Santa Letter format.
Photocopy these foldables double sided to write your holiday letter to Santa. Fold your letter in half. On the front add your name and print in the frames the parts of a letter that your kiddos will write under each flap (for example: the first flap will include the heading and greeting). This will give you a great idea of your students' understanding of parts of a letter and if they know where each part goes!
Also included are letter templates to Mrs. C, Rudolph. Frosty, Santa, and a blank template to be written to a person of choice from the North Pole.
