This bundle includes the following lesson packets:

Listen to the Directions and Help Santa Organize His Workshop For this lesson, students are required to listen to descriptions and directions containing directional concepts to place toys and Christmas items around Santa’s Workshop. The students must determine what is being described and identify the specific item. Students are additionally asked to repeat sentences or questions to develop morpho-syntactic skills and memory. This lesson was created to address language processing, sentence repetition, comprehension of descriptions and following direction skills, while engaged in having fun!

A Day at Santa’s Workshop - A Lesson Designed to Develop Language and Processing Skills For this lesson The students are required to listen to information stated by particular characters and restate what the characters said to develop morpho-syntactic sentence production. In addition, directions containing spatial concepts to place manipulative pieces to complete scenes are provided to complete six scenes in the workshop. Students are then required to respond to questions and retell the events to move on to the next scenes. At the completion of the activity, the students will be able to take home the completed mini-book ‘ A Day at Santa’s Workshop’.

Silly Santa’s Crazy Night – A Semantic Absurdity Lesson In this lesson, students can listen to the story and determine the absurdity as a listening comprehension, language processing activity and then provide the correct vocabulary word, demonstrating semantic knowledge.

Listening Comprehension to Develop Language Processing and Memory Skills - Christmas Theme - This activity can be for students who experience difficulty listening to short stories and then responding to questions regarding them. The 28 stories consist of two to three sentences containing specific referential vocabulary.

Christmas and Delicious Directions Christmas Concept Cookies Galore - *** This lesson does not have to be printed **** The activity was designed for students who are experiencing difficulty interpreting, recalling and executing multi-step directives containing a variety of linguistic concepts.

All of these lessons were designed to develop language and processing skills around a Christmas theme.
