Also available in a money-saving bundle:
Sarah Goode was an inventor originally from Toledo, Ohio and the first African American woman to receive a United States patent. Her idea for the invention of a portable, fold-out cabinet bed came out of necessity - many people she knew lived in small tenement apartments and complained of not having adequate space for furniture and bedding. Goode, with the help of her carpenter husband, Archie, built a folding bed which also served as a cabinet and desk that helped people who had minimal space in their homes live more efficiently.
Included in this set are a portrait of Sarah; an image of Sarah holding a copy of her plans; a cabinet and folding bed; woodworking tools including a chisel, hammer, wood shaver, and complete tool box; a blueprint of the cabinet bed; map Sarah's birthplace in Ohio, and a tenement building.
The set will download as a zip file which is easy peasy to open! You'll then see your individual images and will be good to go!
