If you are like me, you love the book Sarah, Plain and Tall by Patricia Maclachlan. It is such as classic to read with your students.
Whether you are reading Sarah, Plain and Tall as a class, as a small group, or as an independent read, these activities should work just fine.
I know that many teachers look for ways to hold their small group or independent readers accountable for their reading time, and this interactive notebook pack will be perfect for that. If you are already using a reading interactive journal/notebook in your class then your students can designate several pages in that journal for these chapter book activities.
NOTE: You can also use these if you don't use an interactive notebooks, as students can glue the activities on the inside of a blank file folder.
Included in this pack are 13 flippable type activities (at least one per chapter) that are on topics such as character traits, vocabulary, explicit information, and so much more.
Please know ahead of time that I did include an answer key for the vocabulary activity, but because the other activities are pretty much short answer activities, I did not feel a full blown answer key was necessary.
I know your students will have fun completing this interactive notebook activity pack as they read Sarah, Plain and Tall.
