Designed to be used while reading Sarah, Plain and Tall, this HyperDoc includes questions to spark critical thinking and links to help students understand unfamiliar concepts—all in line with common core. Knowing there just aren’t enough hours in the day, I’ve tried to incorporate a little bit of everything, so there are comprehension questions, a little bit of science, some figurative language, a little bit of history, and more. In an attempt to expose kids to multiple media sources and to keep them engaged, I have linked to a chart, texts, and videos.
Image links and extras are included for early finishers to explore. This project can be used with a whole class if you have one-to-one devices, small group at a computer center, or individually. You can assign all of it or part. That’s why homeschoolers love my book projects! With more than 15 links, this project is self-contained and highly engaging, ideal for students who read at different rates or as an individual project when differentiating.
