Saving Fred is a great way to build community in your classroom during the first weeks of school. Use this activity to get children thinking critically and working collaboratively in order to solve a problem. You can also use this activity to begin teaching the scientific method, or when teaching students how to use accountable talk.
*I did not come up with this activity. It has been around for awhile! I did, however, create this PowerPoint presentation and worksheet that you receive in this download!*
