The big 3 distance learning schools which are the following:
Thomas Edison State University (TESU)
Charter Oak State College (COSC)
The reason these three colleges are known as the big 3 in distance education is because of the number of credit hours you can transfer in from other institutions or test out options. They often require you to only take one course through their institution if any, when many other college require 30 credit hours be from the degree granting institution. This is all well and good, but how does it apply to law school and other graduate school options?
The answer is that these institutions can save you a lot of time and you can get into law school or another graduate school faster.
If you are worried about gaining admission to law school from one of these institutions, I encourage you to search the internet for the many success stories.
The major takeaway of this route is just how much time it can save you in the long run, since education is not cheap and time is money!
