Saving- Tips for Saving Money (Contest)
This is a fun activity in which students either alone, with a partner, or in a group, will be given a set amount of time in which they need to list as tips they can think of for saving money. Examples might include using energy efficient light bulbs, bring own snacks to movie theater, use library to borrow books, etc. A very detailed sample answer key is provided for you. The student(s) with the most answers can be rewarded. This is a fun activity to do in a Personal Finance class when starting a unit on Saving. It can also be done in a Consumer/Business Math class, etc. The document contains detailed directions, cool piggy bank bullets for students to list their responses, and a very detailed answer key.
