In addition to other early reading skills, the ability to recognize and identify letters of the alphabet with accuracy and fluency is considered an indicator of future reading success. The materials in this book along with the companion PowerPoint shows created by Sharon Riggs can be used to supplement classroom instruction in letter naming fluency.
The book is made up of three parts:
.20 letter naming fluency practice cards
.28 pages of practice lines (3 lines per page)
.9 font sets of upper and lower case letter cards
The companion PowerPoint shows provide practice with rapid letter naming in different speeds (fast, medium, and slow).
*Please note that the PowerPoint shows are available in two different font styles. My preferred font is AbcPrint but since not everyone has that font available, an additional show using Helvetica font is also included.
