Students will be engaged in practicing letter names and sounds in several ways in one activity: voice (saying the letter name and sound), stamping it with ink, and writing it with pencil or marker. There is also an optional "draw it" activity to add a fun creative component and an extra challenge as students draw pictures that begin with each letter sound.
Students will work on letter identification, sound production, handwriting, and fine motor skills in this one activity!
This activity works well for phonics review and practice in literacy centers or as an assessment of students’ ability to name letters and sounds.
There is a set of lowercase and a set of uppercase worksheets for you to choose from. I have also included a page for only vowels for students who need additional practice with the vowels.
