I created this activity to allow students to work on both speech and fine motor goals as well as give them something to take home and practice as homework.
Uses of these worksheets: in speech-language therapy centers (stations), as a warm-up activity, or as homework.
This packet targets initial, medial, and final /k/ and /g/. The activities in this packet require a student to label the word/picture (visuals are included for young learners), trace the word, write the word independently without a written prompt, and then use alphabet stampers to stamp the word. This allows for a minimum of four repetitions of a single word before moving on to practice a new word.
• Note: If you do not have access to alphabet stampers, you could cross out the “stamp it” direction at the top and write in “draw it” or “describe it”, etc.
→ FYI: I would be more than happy to personalize this portion (the “stamp it” part) for you if you would prefer a different activity rather than “stamp it”. Simply send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferences.
