PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is the third product in my "Say What?" series! Since my school began working with Common Core Standards I have been trying to incorporate more writing into my science classroom. These prompts are short assignments that can be used at any time during the school year to promote critical thinking and writing skills. They would also be suitable to be left for work with a sub.

This pack contains 14 writing prompts based on quotes by well known scientists. These short writing assignments will have students thinking about things such as the role of creativity, looking at the positive of failure, and the role of science in our society.

Download the sample file for a complete list of the quotes used in this pack and a sample of what the pages look like.
