PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I am very excited to launch my newest series of products! Since my school began working with Common Core Standards I have been trying to incorporate more writing into my science classroom. These prompts are short assignments that can be used at any time during the school year to review concepts about the Nature of Science. They would also be suitable to be left for work with a sub.

This pack contains 10 writing prompts based on quotes about science. These short writing assignments will have students thinking about things such as the power of observations, the role of accidents or mistakes in science, what research is, bias, questioning, and ethics.

Download the sample file for a complete list of the quotes used in this pack and a sample of what the pages look like.
