Sayings and Figurative Language Discussion Cards- Set 1 by Autism Classroom.
These cards are for beginning a discussion about figurative language and common sayings such as “the apple of my eye” and “open up a can of worms. The cards ask the questions:
1. What does this sound like?
2. What does this really mean?
For the task card pages, each page holds two cards that can be laminated and cut in half to make two task cards.
