Description
These chemistry homework pages are perfect for students to practice the steps involved in solving factor label method problems. There are 4 separate pages. On one page, students practice how to read the question and find what key measurement is given and what is needed to answer the question. On the second page, students practice how to "draw a road map" to their answer by writing down the conversion factors they will need to get to their desired answer. And on the third page, they solve problems step by step. On the fourth page, there are additional problems. A unique feature of these pages is that I include some icons for each step to prompt students to follow a particular step in a particular part of their answer, encouraging students to write ALL their work down. This is designed to help students who struggle with word problems to stay on track and keep it all organized, as well as help students prevent mistakes in their problem solving. These pages could be useful for all levels of chemistry.
