My kindergarten students are beginning to sound spell, however, they still struggle with separating a word to create a rhyme. I intended to create a visual representation of the parts of the words when rhyming. I created 3 sets of worksheets at different levels of difficulty using the same words. I suggest using the worksheets in conjunction with magnet letters or some other tactile letter manipulatives. I use them in as one of my literacy centers guided by a volunteer.
