This NO PREP scale drawing Halloween and Fall Math Activity is designed for you to print and go! Students will see proportions and equivalent ratios come to life while the work to enlarge a festive image. This can be paired with your lessons, as a math center activity, or used as an engaging review in October or November. You could even have students relate this to their science lessons in which drawing accurate models is of the utmost importance. Have fun!
Students will begin by choosing their favorite spooky, Halloween or fall image (these can be printed in color or in black and white). Then, encourage your students to count the length and width of each line drawn and be sure to match it exactly on the enlargement. There are images of varying difficulty to best address the needs of your students.
