This is a generic scale for students to report progress during a unit or at the end of a unit. It is generic enough for them to use it for any subject. It includes pictures to assist younger students who are not yet able to read the words.
I recently added a second set of scales for students who are not yet able to read the words using the wording that I use with my first graders.
Our district has adopted the Marzano Framework for teacher evaluations and we have not had time to make scales/rubrics for our units so this is acceptable right now.
