Scarecrow Digraph Race is a board game where your students read a word with the digraphs ch, sh, th, ph, ck, ing, ang, ong, and ung and then roll one die (dice) and move that many spaces on the board. Students who land on a scarecrow get to go again. Watch out for the crow as it will eat the crops and send the student back to start. There are 24 fun cards that will tell your students to trade spaces, go again, go ahead spaces, go back spaces, lose a turn or go back to start. If you need more than 24 fun cards make duplicate copies. Any suggestions for new fun cards or a new themed sight word game you are welcome to e-mail me tigermagic@bellsouth.net This is perfect for a literacy center or station for word work or early finishers. This works well in fall (autumn) or Halloween when learning about scarecrows in October.

184 words are included with directions and a fun game board! The game board can also be used for other subjects! It is only in color.

If you enjoy the game please consider leaving positive feedback so you will receive credit for future purchases. If you find an error please e-mail me at tigermagic@bellsouth.net prior to feedback and I will gladly fix it for free and you can redownload it.
