Fall is a great time for Scarecrows, and this poem will work well for your students as fluency practice with repeated readings. Students also work on comprehension and word analysis skills with the additional printables included as well.
Reading fluency is a critical skill for all primary readers. Using a Poem of the Week program is a well established fluency building strategy.
