Location concepts can be difficult for preschoolers with language delays. Here is a cute interactive story where the children get to put the scarecrow in different locations (between, beside, in or on). This is also a great way to model "where" questions.
Print activity off on cardstock. It makes it easier to put the scarecrow and other pictures on the different pages. Cut out the scarecrows and objects on the last two pages. Laminate everything. Put velcro on the cut out pieces. Put the corresponding piece of velcro on the different pages. I usually put two pieces of velcro on the pages, one as a foil. Now you are ready to read.
To Play: Hand the scarecrows and other objects to the child(ren) who are listening to the story. After reading each page have a child put a scarecrow in the correct position.
