This activity takes it outside! In partners, students need to measure their height as well as their shadow length. Students will be able to see a correlation once they've graphed their data. They will be asked to draw a trend line/line of best fit, and write an equation to find answers to questions. This is an exciting and engaging lesson. If you have classes at different times throughout the day, compare scatter plots. It is interesting to see how shadow lengths change throughout the day!
