Description

In this activity, you will examine a set of scatterplot cards and sort each one into the correct category: positive association, negative association, or no association. Once you place each card in the correct group, take a closer look at the patterns within the data. Box any clusters you notice—these are groups of points that are close together. Then, circle any outliers, which are points that do not fit the overall pattern of the scatterplot.

Your goal is to correctly classify each scatterplot and show your understanding of data patterns by identifying clusters and outliers.
