The attached file contains an order of operations scavenger hunt and a recording sheet. The scavenger hunt contains 16 order of operations problems meant for students that have seen order of operations before and for advanced students. This activity allows students to practice this skill with their peers. The students are able to get out of their seats which usually keeps the students engaged. By working with a partner, the students are able to solidify the concepts by helping each other. This activity also works as a great formative assessment because you can see which pairs are falling behind on their problems.
