Product Description
This Scavenger Hunt Activity is part of:
2017 Google Interactive Membership {GROWING BUNDLE} - Current & Future Products

This ❤ Google Interactive Activity ❤ is an engaging practice of working with "Interpreting the Vertex Form Form of Quadratic Functions" . This is a BLENDED Activity as a HARD COPY of the activity is included in this product. This products has a total of 14 questions. This activity is great for DIFFERENTIATION.

This activity is self-checking. At the end students would have used all cards and placed them in the correct order. Students would have to check the order with the teacher to confirm its accuracy.

My students appreciated this type of activity as it allowed them to be independent and find their "own mistakes" before seeking any help. My students love scavenger hunt, they were very appreciative when it is assigned to them as a google activity now.

In this activity, the questions are on a 14 puzzle pieces and the answers are also on the same 14 puzzle pieces. Teacher would assign every student a starting number, students would answer the question on the puzzle corresponding to the assigned question number. Then, student will find the answer on another puzzle. Student will place the puzzle pieces on the "Scavenger Hunt Board". Students will keep going until the last question is reached. The answer to the last question will be on the first puzzle piece.

In this activity students should feel comfortable with:
☑ Students should be feel comfortable with finding the equation of the axis of symmetry of the vertex form of quadratic functions
☑ Students should be feel comfortable with finding the vertex of the vertex form of quadratic functions
☑ Students should be feel comfortable with determining the direction of opening
☑ Students should be feel comfortable with finding the maximum/minimum value of quadratic functions
☑ Students should be feel comfortable with finding value of the y-intercept of the quadratic function

In this activity students will be using Google Slides. Some students used their computers, some used their phones, while others used their IPADs. As long as there is a Google Drive there is a way.

The answer key is included in the file. I usually share it when all assignments are turned in "Electronically"
