This scavenger hunt contains 10 problems involving the special segments in triangles, median, perpendicular bisector, angle bisector, and altitude. The problems require students to use algebra. The pages should be printed on a color printer in landscape form and then posted around the room. Problems are in blue and answers are in red. I allow students to work in pairs and start with any blue problem. Then they search the room for a red answer and that becomes their problem two. This activity then serves as a formative assessment because students will be unable to go to the next problem if they do not solve the first one correctly. I usually position myself in the middle of the room and students come to me when they cannot find their answer. The problems are in order so that you have a key. The first answer goes with the last problem. When I put them up around my room, I mix them up.
