The Surface Area of Prisms Scavenger Hunt was created for a 7th grade math classroom for the measuring figures unit. It contains one scavenger hunt which has 14 problems to practice surface area of triangular prisms and rectangular prisms. Some of the problems has a decimal so students can also practice adding/multiplying/dividing decimals while they work on this task without calculator. Students can work in pairs or independently. The answer key is included.
7.G.6 Solve real-world and mathematical problems involving area, volume and surface area of two- and three-dimensional objects composed of triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, cubes, and right prisms.
