Product Description
Explore curtailment of freedom of speech during WWI with this lesson. The Talk-read-talk-write method is used. Students will discuss a hook, then read a short article, then participate in group discussions, and close the lesson with a short writing assignment or exit slip. A lesson extension is also provided. The extension involves a quick group project where students would create a newspaper page based on the Schenck case and WWI.
