Celebrate reading all year long with this fun sight word game called, "Schnazzle!"
Just print, laminate, and cut out all the sight word cards. Shuffle and stack the cards. Students draw one card at a time and read the word. They keep the cards they read and put those they don't back into the playing stack. When a student draws "Schnazzle!" he/she puts all his/her cards back into the playing stack. The student with the most cards when the playing stack is gone is the winner!
Game variations: Print two copies of the words to play a matching game. Also, let your playing stack grow as your students learn more words throughout the year. By the end of the year, let the game include all of the word cards. To create more excitement, print a second copy of the "Schnazzle!" cards to include in the game.
