Product Description
There are a total of three School Counselor introduction lessons in this pack, for students in grades K-12.

K-1: Rainbow Fish lesson with "grab bag" object lesson. After reading the story, students will pull items representing the school counselor from the bag. Once finished, they will color a sheet that reviews the lesson.

2-3: Object lesson from K-1 plus a matching worksheet (matching the symbols discussed to what they mean)

4-12: Adapt to ability level as needed. All parts of the activity point towards encouraging students to ask for help. Even the strongest people still need help sometimes. Lesson involves a powerful visual using rocks about how it is difficult for students to hold onto so many problems and still do well at school. Students are also asked to complete a brain-teaser using a piece of string, where the secret to their success is to simply ask for help.
