In this pack you will find four versions (red, peach, yellow, green) of the following signs:
1. If my door is closed...
2. What does a school counselor do?
4. Problem Solving
5. Cool Down Steps
You can print them all in the same color or mix it up to match a theme.
The door sign has made a huge impact on the amount of interruptions I get during individual and group sessions.
I have the "what does a school counselor do?" directly beside my door. I feel like this is great reference for adults who may wonder exactly what my role is. There is also a QR code they can use to visit the ASCA website and learn more.
The confidentiality sign is a must have for any counselor. I reference it regularly and I often see students glance at it after repeated visits, as if it is assuring to see it there on the wall.
Problem Solving and Cool Down Steps are great references to have when working with students. I have these laminated and on a ring (along with the character vocabulary cards). I pull them out often when working with students. I also have the cool down steps in my quiet corner. A few teachers have asked for a copy of the problem solving poster for their rooms as well!
