This is a detailed and project based assignment that is great for wrapping up a segment on Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Students will brainstorm and then create their own personal pilgrimage based on their own experiences at school. The project includes creating a map of their journey, as well as a written plan for the journey. Students will then film their journey which will later be presented to the class. The project also includes students writing a letter to another person explaining why their journey was important. The project is great for seniors as a way to reflect on their own journey during the four years of high school.
