PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This project was designed for a 4th grade class. Students will practice multiplication of 2 digit x 2 digits and 2 digit x 3 digits in this project. Students will also use other skills such as addition and subtraction.

Students are going to try and raise some extra money for their school. They’ve decided to open a school store! Their principal has allowed them to open for one week. If they earn $100 or more during
their first week then they will be allowed to stay in business!

Students will select the items to sell, their selling price, and the amount of each item that sold during their first week.. Students will calculate the cost to buy the items, the amount of money they’ve collected after selling the items, the profit per item, and the total profit after one week.

Students will enjoy this fun and practical project! Best of luck during their first week in business!
