This 4 page activity has few pages, but is packed with a variety of interpretive, interpersonal and presentational activities.
*Activity 1 is a listening activity for students to identify common school supplies using a teacher script on the last page.
*In activity 2, students practice writing the vocabulary by labeling pictures in activity 1.
* The 3rd activity has students think about what supplies they would need for their school with True and False comprehension questions. You can personalize these for your school if you like.
*The 4th activity has students practice the vocabulary with an authentic dialogue they might have in the classroom to borrow a school supply the did not bring to class.
*The 5th activity asks students to read an excerpt from the Mexican government's school supply list. It asks students to read the list twice, the first time for general comprehension and the second to highlight all the words they knew or recognized.
* The 6th activity asks students to read the list again and answer specific comprehension questions and to access the original website to answer a couple questions.
The 7th activity asks students to create their own school supply list, incorporating at least 4 adjectives and something new from the authentic school supply list they read.
