I developed this unit over several years with my kindergarten Spanish class but the lessons and materials could easily be adapted to other early elementary settings. In this unit students learn to politely ask for common school supplies and indicate color. Vocabulary included in this unit: ¿Me pasas... por favor?, ¡Gracias!, el lápiz, el papel, el pegamento, las tijeras, la tableta, la regla, el marcador, el libro, la goma, and 10 colors. This eBook contains 8 lesson plans, 4 illustrated conversation guides, 3 sets of manipulatives, 2 matching worksheets, and 2 listen and color worksheets. I also added 1 bonus lesson for teachers in parochial schools to introduce the unit by teaching a Spanish version of the prayer before meals. The bonus lesson includes a color version of the prayer for projection and a black and white version suitable for students to practice their handwriting and decorate. All conversation guides and manipulatives are provided in both color and black and white versions. Included in the lessons are links to 4 videos I highly recommend.
