These are the necessary cards for an "I Have, Who Has?" activity. I pass out the cards as my students enter class. Then, we go through the sequence. The first student reads his card ("Who has a notebook?"), and the student with the card stating "I have un cuaderno" must stand up to read her card word for word. So, students are constantly listening for their item in the opposite language. The activity will help students review school supplies, classes, colors, & numbers.
For prep, you simply print these out (I print on colored paper), laminate, and cut the cards apart. Now, you are ready to play! You can print an extra copy (not cut apart) to be your key to guide students.
For an added element of fun, I have each of my Spanish 1 students do this activity for time. The class with the fastest time completing the sequences gets a prize!
