Schoolhouse Sequencing 0-100 ---
This 24 page pack was created with differentiation for students in mind. Students can sequence numbers 0-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, or 81-100 depending on the level of each student.
This pack includes both black and white and color versions.
This pack was made with differentiation for students in mind as well as saving on paper and ink. These twelve pages contain images of a schoolhouse with numbers on them for sequencing in a pocket chart, on a sentence strip or other paper strips you may have. Depending on the level of your students, you may want your students to sequence 0-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, and 81-100. These twelve pages show the schoolhouse with the numbers in random order with 0-20 being first, then 21-40, and so on. The numbers are “continuous” on these pages without leaving blank spaces to save on copies and ink. The “children” clipart separates each set. These clips can be used for students to add decorations to their strip if desired. Some sets meet in the middle of a page (Example 21-40/41-60). If you decide to only use 0-20, after copying, simply cut off the numbers after the “child” clipart to keep the students from being confused and save these for future use. This same process should be done after 21-40 and so on. I hope your students enjoy sequencing these numbers.
These can be used for a sequencing pocket chart activity or calendar pieces. Numbers can be put in a pocket chart with many numbers missing and have students order the missing numbers 0-100 or you will need to provide students with a piece of paper or sentence strip to glue the numbers/words to after they put them in order. I always like to use a sentence strip or cut long construction paper in half and tape the pieces together to have one long strip so that students practice gluing them in order from left to right without having to sweep back to the left to glue some.
This activity is also great for math centers or a pocket chart activity. Each sheet can be copied (on colored tagboard for black and white version), laminated, cut apart and put in a Ziploc bag for a math center to be used over and over throughout the year. It also makes a great concentration (memory) game.
It also makes great work for students when you have a substitute since the entire activity takes a while with coloring the pieces, cutting them out, and gluing the pieces in order. Students love adding their own color to decorate their number strip.
I hope your students enjoy this fun activity.
