It is important each student has time and opportunities to process skills for eventual automaticity. The concept of schwa is important since it is the most common sound in the English language. The use of the concept “Americana” will help students develop a stronger connection to identification and understanding schwa. Why is this important? So reading is fluid and comprehensible.

Please do not share lessons since copying or sharing efiles is stealing. Please encourage your colleagues, if interested, to purchase their own efile of lessons.
