Table of contents to be used by students to organize binders in middle school. Assumption is students have a 3 ring binder with 5 dividers. If they don't have dividers, paper with post-it notes works well when reinforced with tape.
As students take notes and complete activities in class, they can add items with teachers direction to the table of contents so that they know where it goes. Helps students stay organized, understand the purpose of dividers as well as table of contents.
I also use my to complete binder checks to ensure students are completing notes in class.
