I used this activity with my special education students. It can be used with primary students or special needs and is a wonderful activity that promotes independent completion. My students worked SO well independently and were proud when they completed the task with minimal support.
This is a web-quest worksheet based on the website:
The worksheet is visual and first asks students to manipulate matter in the "oven." Based on the picture indicated on the worksheet, they will drag that item into the oven, turn it on, and then record the "What Happened" write-up in the box provided on the worksheet. Next, they will explore manipulating matter in the freezer. When finished, they can challenge themselves in the "Test Yourself" section at the end.
Great introduction activity to states of matter and for motivating further class discussion and exploration :)
