Science Choice Boards are a perfect way to use differentiation in your classroom! Your students can use them as review after a lesson or before a test, for early finishers, centers, group or table discussions, Science Problem of the Day, or even homework. Some states require a Science Test that covers the past few years of science standards… these would make a perfect review!
There are eight questions/activities for each topic that require students to remember, think, apply, analyze, compare, create and so much more. These are intended for intermediate grades (3rd – 5th) so some of the questions might not be at the level your students need. That’s okay though! Those questions can be used as a great review or a nice challenge.
There are two boards per page to limit printing, along with a black and white and color version. These eight topics are covered in Volume 1:
Rocks and the Rock Cycle
Properties of Matter (Advanced)
Physical and Chemical Changes
Forces and Motion
Phases of the Moon
No answer key is included due to the nature of the activities/questions.
