Product Description
Ina Kulczynska's store:
This lesson plan will generate in-depth discussions in your junior classes due to its format. While it's based on grade 4 Environmental Education curriculum in Ontario (Science and Technology 2007, Understanding Life Systems: Habitats and Communities), it can be easily adapted to younger or older grades.
Let students discover issues surrounding communities and environmental protection through group discussion. Included are a lesson plan, worksheets for groups, additional discussion and notes sheet, assessment tool, and a differentiation aid. This will take as much or as little time as you want, but will best fill a 40 min lesson. If you wish, you can record conclusions on chart paper and post in class as an anchor chart.
Many cross-curricular possibilities! All materials are included - you only need to print.
