This is a bundle of 17 worksheets (each with a key) and 6 quizzes (also with keys) - 46 pages total.
***Updated 3.3.17: I've now added 6 quizzes to the bundle and the SMARTboard file I use to display each assigned review. I use the shade feature on each slide to visually indicate which rows students are to do when they come to class, and then I pick four kids at random to write their answers on the SMARTboard. We go over each box together, and the kids fix any mistakes on their sheets. After completing a set of 3 sheets, the kids have a Daily Review Quiz. These quizzes are now included in the bundle and are clearly labeled for which set of 3 reviews it is paired with.
Each day, at the start of my science lesson, I have my students complete one row of a Daily Review Worksheet as a warm-up. I have these run as worksheets for my kids to keep in their folders, and I also display the Review worksheet on my SMARTboard. The sheet is designed to give a spiraling review of science material taught thus far, especially material they may find problematic. This can be used in 4th grade to review material recently taught in a spiraling format, or it can be used in 5th grade to review 4th grade Science SOL's the kids may have forgotten.
This particular bundle include 17 worksheets and their KEYS, covering all 4th Virginia Science SOL's: SOL 4.1-4.9. (As a separate item in my store, I also sell a bundle of daily reviews that have combined 4th and 5th grade material - the worksheets in this bundle are not the same as the ones sold in the 4th/5th combo bundle. You can use both bundles without fear of a replicated worksheet.)
*Note: My school district has a 4th grade Science Pacing that orders the units as follows- 4.1, 4.6, 4.5, 4.7, 4.8, 4.2, 4.3, 4.9, and then 4.4. If your school district uses a different pacing, then this bundle may not work because each progressive worksheet has review columns with previous material according to my pacing. With each progressive sheet, there is a review column that spirals previous 4th grade material to keep it fresh in mind, as well as a 4th grade review column that cycles through all 4th grade SOL's that had been covered up to that point.
I hope you find this as useful as I have - my kids always struggle to remember the those key SOL facts that are hit hard on the big test. After I have completed a set of 3 worksheets, I give the quiz for that range of worksheets (also in bundle). The quiz has a random combination of questions from those three sheets - so the kids need to study those three before the quiz. These Daily Reviews certainly keep the info fresh in their minds.
These would be great warm-ups at the beginning of class, but you could also use them as homework assignments or even using each as a separate graded assignment. For 5th grade teachers, you could easily run these as a packet to use during SOL review.
