Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids Practice
Comparing and Contrasting between Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids Practice
Minerals Practice

This is a 4 in 1!

The Elements and Compounds Practice allows practice in differentiating between compounds and elements in two separate ways: chemical equation/text and by property. Furthermore, it allows practice in identifying physical properties and understanding the term.

The Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids Practice allows practice in identifying the groups on the Periodic Table. It also provides practice in identifying the properties of each of the groups and identifying specific elements as either a metal, nonmetal, or metalloid. Furthermore, this document sets up scenarios for the students to use their knowledge demonstrated to identify if elements/solids are metals, nonmetals, or metalloids when given information and/or clues.

Comparing and Constrasting between Metals, Nonmetals, and Metalloids Practice does just that; students will compare and contrast the groups on two separate Venn Diagrams.

Minerals practice allows the students to practice the basic understanding of minerals as well as the properties minerals are identified by. Also, students will have to identify the word to go along with the definition of some common mineral properties. Furthermore, students are presented with scenarios where they will have to identify the results of specific mineral tests, or determine the meaning of those tests.
